Have You Heard of Imagination Library?

Shortly after Adalynn was born, Kelly's cousin told me about Dolly Parton's Imagination Library

It's a program she started in 1995 to give free books to children who are pre-school age. Children receive a free, age-appropriate book each month until I believe age 5. I was so super excited to hear about it that I immediately got on her website and signed up for Adalynn.

She just got her first book yesterday, 'The Little Engine That Could'. It was pretty nostalgic reading it to her, looking at the pictures I remember so well from being a little girl.

I can't wait until she's old enough to realize that it's time for her book to come in the mail! I picture her excitement when running out to the mailbox to see if her new book has arrived. For now, I'll be the excited one running to check the mail :)

If you're a new parent, or know of any new parents, I most definitely recommend checking out her website

  1. Omg!! I've heard of it but I will have to check it out for baby girl!

    1. Yes, definitely! It's super easy to sign up. She'll have an awesome library started by the time she is learning to read :)
Hope you're feeling well & can enjoy these last few weeks before your sweetie comes!
